The Tour of Tangier

The port and Medina (old city) of tangier

Start from Tangier port, with Tangier outskirts by an air conditioned mini-bus, crossing the modern town with its large boulevards and then, a nice drive through rich areas of Tangier's California section where you will see villas, palaces, including the Royal summer residence and homes of celebrities.

Continue and stop at Spartel cape, see the lighthouse that marks the convergence of the Atlantic ocean and the Mediterranean sea.

Then a stop to take pictures of camels and if you like to experience a ride. Continue to visit Hercules caves (continually inhabited since the Neolithic period).

We will drive then to discover the old face of Tangier, visiting and walking through the Kasbah and the Medina, with a possibility of visiting the archaeological museum (except on Tuesdays), the American legation, the Mendoubia (administrative building when Tangier was international city between 1923 till 1958) and the market with its colourful narrow streets.

During the tour, we are going to stop to have a Moroccan traditional launch.
